On International Women's Day, Volt Luxembourg took part in the feminist march organised by JIF (Journée Internationale des Femmes) on 8 March. Together with more than a thousand committed people, we marched through the streets to send a clear message: women's rights are human rights and must be consistently protected and further expanded!

Hundreds of people took part in demonstrations and protest marches at ten European borders to demonstrate for freedom of movement in Europe and against border controls at Europe's internal borders.

On 12 July 2025, Volt Luxembourg participated with great conviction in the Equality March in Esch-sur-Alzette to join many committed individuals in sending a message of diversity, acceptance and the rights of LGBTQIA+ people. It is important to us to make it clear that equality and respect are not negotiable, but rather cornerstones of an open and inclusive society.

On 8 March, we walked in the feminist march for International Women's Day. One of Volt's main concerns is the problem that politics continues to be dominated by men.

On Saturday morning, Volt Luxembourg held its general assembly in Luxembourg City. Among other things, a new board and new statutes were voted on. We were delighted to welcome four members from other Volt chapters.

Yesterday in Schengen, Volt called for a march for open borders, and 250 people from Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands turned up to join the demonstration.

In a vibrant display of pan-European unity, the political movement Volt orchestrated the Schengen March on May 9th, commemorating both Europe Day and the Schuman declaration. The event took place in Schengen, the very town where the historic Schengen Agreement was signed, symbolizing the commitment to open borders and cooperation among European nations.

Volt Luxembourg had another meet'n greet and met up in the Rotondes. There was a lot of discussion over a few drinks.

We were there on International Women's Day and took part in the "Women's March" and the women's strike. The march through the capital of Luxembourg is an important statement to denounce the inequalities that still exist between the sexes.
