Becoming an effective member

If you become a Volt member, you become part of the team and enjoy the following privileges:

• Access to the General Assemblies of Volt Luxembourg and Volt Europa

• Right to vote in both Volt Luxembourg and Volt Europa - active (can vote) and passive (can stand for office and be elected).

• Access to a Volt email address

• Access to your own Volt drive

Membership fees

• The regular membership fee is €60 per year.

• For students, pensioners, the unemployed or people with no income, the fee is €12 per year.

How does the registration process work?

If you click on the "Join Volt" button at the bottom of this page, you will be redirected to our membership application website. Enter your email address here, select your membership type and complete the questionnaire. Then (please give us a few days) you will be contacted by a Volt member for a short introductory chat - your chance to ask questions about Volt and an opportunity for us to get to know you a little.

Are there any commitments and how much time do I have to put in?

We are all volunteers - so there is no need to put in a fixed number of hours unless you are applying for an official position at national or European level. In general, we are happy if you can find your interests within Volt and if you can contribute in your own way.
